  32. I also have 2 of these modems (external) from the same EPROM date,
  33. 10/18/95.  However, I'm running in Windows 95 (and Dos) My problems include, 
  34. dropping carrier, (esp. at 14.4) and freezing up; still TXing or RXing but not 
  35. both.  These problems have plagued me for awhile now, and it's so bad that I 
  36. can never play games over the modem with it.  I tried disabling data 
  37. compression, etc until I got down to 14400/NONE but it still happened.  When I 
  38. dug out my old Sportster 14.4, all was well.  It seems like my modems are 
  39. infected "Spiraling Syndrome of Death" as well :-(
