- I also have 2 of these modems (external) from the same EPROM date,
- 10/18/95. However, I'm running in Windows 95 (and Dos) My problems include,
- dropping carrier, (esp. at 14.4) and freezing up; still TXing or RXing but not
- both. These problems have plagued me for awhile now, and it's so bad that I
- can never play games over the modem with it. I tried disabling data
- compression, etc until I got down to 14400/NONE but it still happened. When I
- dug out my old Sportster 14.4, all was well. It seems like my modems are
- infected "Spiraling Syndrome of Death" as well :-(
